We come from writing and filmmaking — industries built on imagination, persistence and the constant pursuit of new ideas. For decades, our work has taken us between Berlin and Los Angeles, through film productions, creative meetings and countless conversations with artists, storytellers and entrepreneurs. Along the way, we learned that the things we value most are often the ones we use every day — objects with purpose, character and a story behind them.The creative freedom of Silver Lake, the colours of Venice and the cinematic rhythm of Los Angeles continue to shape the world of House of Zuuma.Inspired by those experiences, we create original art, handcrafted bags and aprons designed to bring creativity, beauty and lasting value into everyday life. Known among friends as The Night Painter, Esther creates most of her work after dark.
Inspired by years spent between Berlin and Los Angeles, her paintings blend nocturnal botanicals, luminous colour and a distinctly cinematic atmosphere.
Her canvases feel like scenes from an unwritten film — suspended somewhere between memory, imagination and places once visited.

Heavy canvas
The same heavyweight canvas as our Bag, dyed deep black. Too good to waste, too durable not to use again. What began as leftover fabric became the foundation of an apron built for kitchens, studios and long evenings around the grill. Olive oil, tomato sauce, gesso, espresso or grill smoke — it takes them all and washes clean without losing its shape.

Über die Jahre hinweg haben wir mehrere Serienkonzepte entwickelt, Drehbücher geschrieben und unzählige Ideen verfolgt. Unseen Artists ist unsere erste unabhängige Produktion — und der Beginn von etwas, das wir künftig offener mit anderen teilen möchten. Das Studio ist unser Blick hinter die Kulissen. Hier zeigen wir Dokumentationen, kreative Experimente und Projekte in Entwicklung — zusammen mit den Menschen, Geschichten und Ideen, die sie inspirieren. Manches ist fertig. Manches befindet sich noch im Entstehen. Doch alles begann mit Neugier und dem Wunsch, etwas zu erschaffen, das es wert ist, geteilt zu werden. Willkommen im Studio. Ja. Jeder Kunstdruck wird auf Anfrage über Prodigi gedruckt und versandt – höchste Druckqualität bei geringerem ökologischen Fußabdruck. Kostenloser Versand für Bestellungen ab 150 € innerhalb Deutschlands; die Versandkosten für die EU und andere Länder werden an der Kasse angezeigt.
