Holy Mango

Holy Mango is part of Esther Kurle’s Botanical Series, a collection inspired by memories of nature and the simple desire to have more of it in everyday life.

Branches filled with mangoes unfold across the canvas in a vibrant composition of warm pinks, oranges and yellows. Strong black outlines define the organic forms, giving the work an expressive, almost illustrative quality.
